3 Tammuz (July 1-2) Shabbat Chukat (outside of Israel parshat Korach) –Torah Reading: Numbers 19:1-22:1; Haftorah: Judges 11:1-23.
28th anniversary of the passing of the Lubavitcher Rebbe

10 Tammuz (July 8-9) –Shabbat Balak (outside of Israel Chukat), Torah Reading: Numbers 22:2-25:9; Haftorah: Michah 5:6-6:8

12-13 Tammuz (July 11-12) Celebration of the miraculous delivery from death, imprisonment, and exile of the Previous Lubavitcher Rebbe

17 Tammuz (July 15-16) — Shabbat Pinchas, (outside of Israel Balak) –Torah Reading: Numbers 25:10-30:1; Haftorah: Kings I 18:46 – 19:21. This date is a fast day, that is postponed because we don t fast on Shabbat. See 18 Tammuz.

18 Tammuz (July 17) – (Postponed from Shabbat). A fast day commemorating the breaching of the walls of Jerusalem and the beginning of the period of mourning over the destruction of the Temple, called “Bein HaMetzarim” or “The Three Weeks”. An appropriate time for the learning of the laws concerning the building of the Temple, in anticipation of the imminent Redemption.

23 Tammuz (July 22) — The Yahrzeit of the Ramak, Rabbi Moshe Cordevero (1522-1570) the leader of the Kabbalists of Safed until his death within a year after the arrival of Rabbi Yitzchak Luria (the “Ari”).

24 Tammuz (July 22-23) — Shabbat Mattot, (outside of Israel Pinchas) Shabbat Mevarchim, (blessing of the New Month) –Torah Reading: Num.30:2-32:42; Haftorah: Jeremiah 1:1-2:3, the first of the three “Haftorot of Affliction”

29 Tammuz (July 28) — Erev Rosh Chodesh Av
